Auto-enter: Create = Account Name, odd results

Hi,

this database is in FM13, shared on a server. In a table that's used to record employees time entries, there is a field named UserCreate, set on Auto-enter create = Account Name. I expect that the field will contain the account name as defined in Manage > Security > Accounts. This is mostly what I get. Let me explain.

Say the account name is jamesbond. On FMGO13, if the user logins by typing jamesbond, then the field value is jamesbond. But if the user logins by typing Jamesbond, then the field value is Jamebond. Thing is on a different Layout, I need to get a sum, using ExeuteSQL(), and that query has a WHERE clause like this: WHERE 'Jamesbond' = 'jamesbond'. The sum is 0 because the two strings are different.

So my question is "why don't I get the account name as defined in Manage > Security > Accounts" ? Is it a bug, a feature, something else ?

Oh and by the way, I get the same result on a field set to Auto-enter modify = Account Name.

Thanks a lot.
