I have been developing a Web Direct solution for a few months that includes a section for users to download linked Supercontainer files. The process for downloads has been working fine up until yesterday afternoon when all of a sudden it started producing unreliable results. Basically, the user would be prompted to download the file, but when they clicked the button to actually download the file nothing would happen.
This is the script that was working fine until yesterday.
Adding a simple Pause/Resume script step between lines 30 & 31 to wait for the user to actually click the download button fixed the problem. Is this best practice? It seems sort of strange that this would be working fine and then just stop, and I can't find any documentation in FileMaker that says that you must pause the script long enough for the user to actually download the file before clearing it.
Stranger still that for some reason the script just completes and leaves the user hanging with a selection to make instead of waiting for them to download the file.
