We are using Filemaker Go 14 to collect data on an iPad.
One of the textboxes is a larger box that the user uses to record notes. Some users use carriage returns when keying in the text.
We export the data to excel. Excel does not appear to know what to do with the carriage return. It puts in a symbol that I have never seen before. I have been unable to copy this symbol and paste it into the find / replace box in excel.
I don't need to carriage return in the data. Is there a way to either (in script) prevent the user from entering a carriage return, or searching and replacing carriage return in the FM database before we export?
