Backup aborted by user or due to error

Hello,

I have noticed that I am getting Aborted backups since some of the files seem to be damaged.

Needless to say this is worrying and I was wondering if someone could shed some light on the problem. I did as someone suggested and tried to run ‘Verify permissions’ on the disk where the databases and backups are, but since it is a non-bootable disk, Disk Utility can’t do anything with it. (Mac OS X server)

The databases still function but I cannot get reliable backups, in fact most of the files are only 12k indicating that they are effectively empty.

The backups used to be complete until recently so I know that the disk can be written to.

Any advise would be appreciated.

Bowman
