    DB read-only

    Draco

      Hi,

      When remove admin access from files permanently (Tools menu > Developer Utilities), the file becomes in : read-only ,... this is annoying and I consider it a mistake.

      - Yosemite

      - FMA 15

      Regards

      Draco

          Is there any access privileges / User Account set in FM for read AND write at all?

          I'ld assume we're dealing with a FM issue. Otherwise, select the file, GetInfo (cmd / i) and set access privileges on the Mac OS level.

            Hi Benjamin,

            1.- GetInfo of DB is :  Staff and everyone  -->  Read & Write

            2.- Remove admin access from files permanently  .... Staff and everyone  -->  Read-Only

              not sure if I'm missing something:

              2.- Remove admin access from files permanently ....

              seems OK

              Staff and everyone --> Read-Only

              mmh, O-K, but

              anybody --> Read AND Write

              For me it appears as FM behaves as expected.

              Actually, I would appreciate to get a FM error message when no Write permission is set at all, but there might be user cases where read-only is needed for all accounts.
