Please your help with the following problem with shared databases using FileMaker 15.
We have three database files that are open on an iMac with Mac OS X Yosemite.
Files are shared for use from a PC with Windows 7 Pro .
The problem is that regularly infromation entered from the client is not displayed on the host computer .The information appears when FileMaker Pro is reboot in the host.
It also happens that on the host, in the fields of one table, appears the message "No Access" , forcing to leave and re-open FileMaker databases.
Already we have been revised access privileges and everything seems fine . The network is Ethernet.
This problem arose after upgrade to FileMaker 15 .
Make sure your host (windows 7) has sp1.
Make sure you never virusscan or backup a .fmp12 file on the host especially when another user has it open.
You should seriously consider FileMaker server
