After using FMP for some time now, I am impressed with its possibilities, but I also miss some basic functionality - or is it my ignorance?

1. Unique index - i read here that that indeed doesn't seem to be possible - people use SQL for that. Really? dBase3+ from the 1980's even had that option... now 30 years later i need external "tools"?

2. (temporarily) disable a part of a script? (e.g. for trying to find the cause of a problem).

3. many times when working with data (not using a script), you want to do one thing with the found set (other than sort or find/replace). I miss a kind of pop-up command line. Now you need to write a script to find the same data you have already found etc....

4. the very rudimentary text options you have for sending out a mailing. Of course FMP is not Word, but not even the most basic options like bold, font size etc? Now this limits the mailing functionality, also because many people are reluctant to click on attachments.
