Thank you for your post!
It looks like we have had issues with Path/FileName length in the past. It seems there may have also been an issue reading available space in early version of FileMaker 12 Software. If you could provide a little more information:
-What version of FileMaker Pro Advanced are you running? (13v9, 14.0.6, 15.0.1, etc.)
-What path are you setting the Project Folder to?
-What is the FileName?
-Does it work if processed on a Flash Drive?

Per your suggestion, I tried a shorter name for my source file and it worked.
But, to answer your questions ...
- FMPA 14.0.6
- path: "C:\Users\Dave\Documents\FILEMAKER\Simon"
- source filename that didn't work: "SimonSaysWhat Copy.fmp12"
- source filename that did work: "Simon.fmp12"
- sorry, I don't have a flash drive handy
Great! It wasn't a very long path, so it may have been the space " " in the file name. If you need spaces or breaks I would recommend using an underscore "_" instead.
I hope this helps!
As a debugger, it is my sad duty to report that, in beginning to test the "space" theory, I can't make it fail anymore.
I tried and failed at least three times before starting this post, including FM re-launch.
I was going to try "SimonSaysWhat_Copy.fmp12", but I tried "SimonSaysWhat Copy.fmp12" first, and it worked when it didn't work before.
I deleted all target folders and tried again. It still worked with the space.
(I have not restarted the machine during this test.)
So, the issue cannot be reproduced? I wonder if something was damaged during the first processing of the runtime. I had found a somewhat similar thread from an 11 user: Binding Files - Runtime - Not enough room on the disk
It does seem to be working for you as expected now. If this reoccurs or you find further information to the cause please post back here!
