Nope, portals are one way only (rows, where each row is a record).
There are some tricks you can do to simulate what you want, mainly:
1) put portals next to eachother that start at an offset record, EG portal 1 has rows 1-5, portal 2 has rows 6-10, etc..
2) Use field calculations in the portal table for "cells". Sometimes people make a "cells" table, and relate that instead between the main table and portal contents table.
3) Use the virtual list technique to load content into "cells".
Mike -- Thank you! Will check both concepts out. Thank you! Though, I did just realize that videos cannot be displayed easily in portals, which complicates things. Any work around to displaying videos on a single page other than just a lot of fields in a table on a single record?
