    Consolidated list unique values only

      Dear all,

      I am working on a database of Mexican medicinal plants for my PhD thesis.

      Being new to filemaker I am encountering some issues and would greatly appreciate any sort of advice.

      I set up relationships between three tables as can be seen from the screenshot below. In the plants table, I would like to create a consolidated list of the studies in which a specific species occurs; Using the function

      Substitute ( List ( combined_data::Study code ) ; Char ( 13 ) ; ", " )

      In theory, this worked well as can be seen in the screenshot from the table plants below. However, as in the combined_data table specific combinations of Study code and Scientific_Name can occur more than once (i.e. a specific botanical species can occur more than one in a specific study), the List includes duplicates.

      Is there a way to set the criteria for the list function to include unique values only?

      Thanks a lot in advance!
