You can have a portal with lines - just go to the inspector with the portal seleceted, choose 'portal row' from the popup - there are separate entries for portal and portal rows - (or similar, no english system here) and define a linestyle
If You want a separate box, just create a rectangular, set the fill to none and the line to whatever You like using the inspector. You might have to 'pixelpush' a bit to place/size that regtangular until it fits, it has to be _inside_ the portal row
to expand on the Inspector:
1. portal before ( blue theme, no lines on rows, lines on field ):
2. In layout mode, select the portal and select the Portal Row:
3. change the Fill to none and the Line to all sides, 1 pt, black:
4. portal after (note the Portal Row only has been changed, so the scroll is still blue)
if you want the portal scroll to be the same, go back to step 2 and select Portal and change the Line (as in Step 3).
I would probably remove the lines from the field here, too.
Thanks for the help
