When a Perform Script on Server action is running / waiting for completion on a FileMaker PRO client, this application become unresponsive. On OS X, it is apparently impossible to hide the application.
How to replicate
- Execute a script that include a PSoS action with option [X] Wait for completion checked.
- The subscript must have been designed to leave enough time to the user, lets say, creating 100'000 records.
- During completion, do several attempts to hide FileMaker Pro application : back to the Finder and choose the menu command FINDER > HIDE OTHERS, or alt-click the Desktop or other app, and so on...
Not sure... Add a new space ?
