Product and version

FileMaker Pro (Advanced) 14.0.5 / 15.0.1

OS and version

OS X 10.10.5 / OS X 10.11.6

Hardware

All

Description

When a Perform Script on Server action is running / waiting for completion on a FileMaker PRO client, this application become unresponsive. On OS X, it is apparently impossible to hide the application.

How to replicate

  1. Execute a script that include a PSoS action with option [X] Wait for completion checked.
  2. The subscript must have been designed to leave enough time to the user, lets say, creating 100'000 records.
  3. During completion, do several attempts to hide FileMaker Pro application : back to the Finder and choose the menu command FINDER > HIDE OTHERS, or alt-click the Desktop or other app, and so on...

Workaround

Not sure... Add a new space ?
