Pop-up Menu Type Ahead Not Working On Windows PC

Product and version: FileMaker Pro 14 Advanced 14.0.6

OS and version: Windows 7 Professional 32-bit SP1

      Hardware: Intel Core 2 Duo CPU E7400 | 2GB RAM | 1TB HDD

Description: Typing ahead on a pop-up menu is not working. I'm using FileMaker Pro on a Windows PC. Expected behavior would be if the user types the first few characters of the item, the pop-up menu will select / highlight / jump onto the first instance of that value on the list. However on a PC the only way to interact with a pop-up menu is either use the arrow keys or use the mouse to select a value. I have read on the forum that typing ahead on a pop-up menu works on a Mac so why not on Windows?

          Thank you for your post.

Simply, Mac OS allows keyboard access to pop-up menus.  Typeahead on Windows is only available for fields formatted as drop-down lists.
