As a way to test the file path, have you tried using it from a FileMaker client with Insert File?
That backslash in the fmppath doesn't look right to me.
"filemac:/Macintosh\ HD" & $filePath
For one thing, inside a string it's treated as an escape character. TO get that actual character in a quoted string, you have to enter it twice: "\\" to get \, but I'm not sure that it's even the right character here.

Thank you very much.
Drive 'Macintosh HD' on my computer has a space between "Macintosh" and "HD", so I thought I had to add a "\" to escape the space like when using it on the terminal. Renamed it to "MacintoshHD".
Then Tried with [Insert File] and its working.
@beverly : Get(DesktopPath) was helpful to see how Filemaker interprets absolute paths
