Display PDF container field on a Windows computer?

I would like to get a Windows 7 system with Adobe acrobat viewer installed to display a PDF so that it looks similar to what I see on a Mac with Preview.  Below are examples of what I am seeing.  On Windows, if I type a <CTRL> H it displays fairly well.  Is there a way to script typeing a character sequence?  Or is there a trick to getting the container field to display the same way on Mac and Windows?

Setting the container field to display as a images does solve the display issue,  but the right click menus are for images and not PDF.  I would like to have both the default display and the PDF menus.

Thanks very much for help and suggestions for this.

On the windows system I get this:

Windows.jpg

On the Mac I see this:

On Windows,  if I type <CTRL>H, I get this:

Windows2.jpg
