I have an editable I-9 pdf that is in an interactive container. I can enter information onto the pdf in the container, but when I leave the layout, the pdf resets to blank. Is there a way to have the editable pdf save on exit layout?
I didn't try but would it be possible to add a save button in the pdf itself?
Not sure it would work though.
My 'preferred' method so far is to have a FileMaker form with global fields, then a save scripts that exports the pdf, fills it in using scriptMaster plugin and re-insert it. Finally reset he FileMaker form.
What strategy did you end up using?
I've just gotten the same feature request as the one you described above from a client. They have PDF's in interactive containers they'd like to be able to edit in place and have their changes saved. These form PDF's have already been pre-filled using the Scribe plug-in, but they'd like to be able to make further mods without exporting/reimporting the doc.
Have you/anyone found a way to provide the "save changes" functionality described here?
