    Removing solutions?

    annar

I'm new to FMP15 and have created many different starter solutions to play around with as I'm learning the software. I now don't need most of them, but I can't figure out how to delete them. How do I remove these empty solutions from FMP?

If you are not hosting on server, just delete the files from your folder where they are stored.

make sure you quit FileMaker first

you didn't specify version/platform (as iOS is slightly different).

open FileMaker and they should no longer appear in Launch Center

If you don't remember where the database files are stored, get back to us.

            Thanks for your help, Beverly!

I deleted them from my desktop (where they were stored) and restarted FMP. They still appear in "Recent", but will not open if I click on them (see attached screen shot)

Or...if there are some you want to keep and some you want to delete...

...simply highlight the "files" you want to get rid of in the Launch Center and press the "delete" key.

However, doing this will expose "other" files that were not previously displayed (when the Launch Center is refreshed) so you may have to repeat the process a few times to display the files you want to display.
