I have records in List View, how can I conditionally format text in just one of the fields in the selected record.
Try adding Refresh WIndow as the final step of the OnRecordLoad triggered script.
or use Refresh Object as the last step and give the field with the conditional formatting an object name.
Select the field that you want to select and set up the conditional formatting. If you want the conditional formatting to only show up when the record is active then use the OnRecordLoad script trigger to set a $$GLOBALVARIABLE equal to the id or recordid and then test for that as part of your conditional formatting.
OnRecordLoad sets $$CURRENTID = CurrentTable::ID
Conditional format is set to
$$CURRENTID = CurrentTable::ID and ... (whatever other criteria you want)
Hi, it highlights, but it highlights the previous record selected not the current record selected.
If I click the row twice, conditional formatting will display properly.
Yes, philmodjunk is correct, refresh the individual object that is formatted. Don't use refresh window as that will redraw everything and in some cases cause flashing.
The Object Refresh worked great.
