Web Direct Conditional formatting update in portal

Product and version FileMaker 15 WebDirect

OS and version macOS Sierra, Windows 10

Browser and version MS Edge 38.14393.0.0,  IE 11.187.14393.0, Safari 10.0

      Hardware MacBook Pro 2013

I have a portal with an object with conditional formatting.  The formatting changes the color depending on a value in a global field. In this case I click on the row then an id from the related table is entered into the global.  Because the row I clicked on has the same id the conditional formatting updates the row with the color and removes it from the last selected row.

In the case where the previously selected row is visible everything works as expected.  If the previously selected row is not visible scrolled below the portal everything works as expected.

If any part of the previously selected row is not visible by scrolling it to the top of the portal the conditional formatting does not update.

Workaround add an update portal script step.

I know this is an easy workaround but originally I didn't even want to use a script to set this field. Also why does it not work on the rows hidden in the top of the portal and not the bottom. I figure its a bug not a huge one but still worth mentioning.

          Thank you for your post.

Is the global storage field from the related table or the current layout table?  Can you post the script that is activated when you click the portal row?

Does this issue occur with FileMaker Pro?  Or, only with WebDirect?

It may be easier if you send in a copy of the file so we can determine what exactly is occurring.  I have sent you a private message with instructions where to send the file.
