FileMaker Cloud: unable to increase storage size

    scottworld

After successfully resolving dozens of other problems that we've had trying to setup FileMaker Cloud (sadly, setting up FileMaker Cloud is NOT an easy or straightforward process at this moment in time), we have finally come to a problem that we are unable to resolve.

We are simply trying to upgrade our storage space from 40 GB to 80 GB, and it fails every single time. The process starts, tells us to wait 10 minutes or so, and then we get an email telling us that the process has failed. Then we are back to 40 GB again. We have tried many times.

(Why are we doing this? Apparently, 40 GB isn't large enough for us. Our database is 19 GB large, but after we try to apply encryption at rest via FileMaker Cloud, it goes over the 40 GB storage limit, then encryption stops, then the database goes back to its normal size of 19 GB, then the database closes, and we're stuck unless we attempt to increase our storage space. So we are forced to upgrade to 80 GB of storage space, but it never successfully completes.)

Below is the failure email that we receive from FileMaker:
