Product and version: FileMaker Pro 188.8.131.52
OS and version: macOS Sierra 10.12
Hardware: MacMini Late 2014
I have a restaurant POS solution developed in FileMaker in which the main devices to interact with the solution are iPads.
Since the every print is performed in several POS printers, all the printers are installed in a MacMini running FileMaker Pro through network connection.
To print the solution just creates a new record on a print jobs table from the iPads and a OnTimer script on the FM Pro is constantly checking the first few records for newly created records. Finding a new record the script sends a print request to the according printer.
I am currently having a problem with excessive memory consumption.
While in FM14 never had any problem even after a long period running, now in FM15 the memory used constantly grows until none is available.
On the screenshot FileMaker is using more than 1Gb after running for about one hour, it becomes unresponsive after a while as RAM consumption rises.
I Tried to lower the frequency of the script and even check less records every run but the problem persists.
Is this a known issue? Or there is any way to workaround this?
Thanks In advance,
