    Conditional Field help needed

    user447

      I have a conditional field for GRADE.
      Right now it’s set for:

      If (Score >=75; “Passed”; “Failed”)

      But I need to add in that if the Exam Name is either LRR-NV or LRR-DE, then passing grade is 70.
      For all other states, passing is 75.

      Just not sure how to word the If statement.

      Thanks for the help!

          Case will work better than nested if's i think.

          Let (

          [

          _score = score_field;

          _name = Exam_Name_Field

          ];

          Case (

                    Exact ( _name ; "LRR-NV" ) OR Exact ( _name :"LRR-DE" ) AND _score 70 ; "Passed" ;

                    _score 75 ; "Passed" ;

                    "Failed"

                    ) // close case

          ) // close let

          There are other ways to make it simpler, like using lists instead of the two Exact()'s, but this will work.

            Hi,

            just a small tweak to the above - there should be a set of parentheses around the OR clause.

            1 or 0 and 0 yields 1

            (1 or 0) and 0 yields 0
