Click on the row so the row is highlighted, then hit delete on your keyboard. Might be slightly different for windows but that's what works on OSX.
Hey, Mike this is great on "Recents", & I'm not where I can test. Does that remove the Favorites as well, or must these be removed from the Manage Favorites?
My process was to:
File > Open
Switch from tile to list view (icons in top left of launch center)
List is grouped by favorites and recents
I was able to click a row to highlight a favorite and delete it.
I was also able to click a recent row and delete it as well.
OK, I think I had to also clear the Recents or Favorites from Manage... (under the corresponding Open...) or the would come back.
