Good day, all. I'm in the process of upgrading an application to .fmp12 format from .fp7. The original app was written by someone ... not particularly adherent to normalization principles.

As you might guess, each box you see is a separate field. Ouch. When I remodeled this, I turned everything into a join table using a portal, but I'm not happy with that interface. It results in a lot of scrolling. So what I'm looking for is a way to model a grid like this without having huge numbers of fields in the table.
Ideas I'm considered:
- Repeating global fields w/scripting to populate actual records
- Single-row portals for each box
Neither of this is particularly attractive to me. Anyone have any other ideas?
