How can I turn on my record into open state?
An "open state" means that your record has been modified and the changes have not yet been committed back to the file. So any action that modifies the data in one of its fields will leave it open until some other action commits it.
Go to field (with no field specified)
Go to layout
Closing the window where the change was made
will all commit records
"How can I turn on my record into open state?"
I think it will probably be helpful if you will explain why you would like to do this.
Normally, FileMaker takes care of all this very easily and transparently while you're viewing and editing data.
