Can anyone help me please? The script is deleting ALL of the records in a duplicate group.
Despite reading previous posts, I am unable to get the attached script to work!
Am I doing something stupid?
The Script is supposed to delete all records that have the same Unique ID as the first record after you have done a sort of you Found Count. The whole script looks a little bit strange to me. What is it supposed to do?
The script is supposed to sort the 'Temp Link table" according to "Unique ID". The smallest number is first.
It then goes through each entry to see if there is a duplicate "Unique ID" and is supposed to remove a record if it is duplicate. If not, it moves on to the next record.
At the end, it exits.
Loop while foundCound > 0
Delete or omit record
If you need resulted found set, do it on new window and close at the end.
Avoid using "Go to next record" to simplify script.
Just before you Delete Record and Go to next record you should Set Field Global Field to your Unique ID
