FileMaker is not compatible with Mac OS Sierra. You should downgrade your OS until there is a new version release of FileMaker.

- FileMaker Server 15.0.2 includes support for macOS Sierra version 10.12. To upgrade your operating system, uninstall FileMaker Server, then upgrade your operating system. Then use the FileMaker Server 15.0.2 installer instead of the updater software.

Sounds like it is more than the server OS that is in play; could it be related to iOS10 but not 9? What version of FM Go?
And obviously I have to ask: why Sierra on the server, if it was running fine before then downgrade back to the stable state. It usually doesn't pay to jump on a whole new OS for a server that was running file...
