Please help me understand what I'm doing wrong. I want to create a script that will export data to the Documents folder of my hosted computer so I can then create a 2nd script that will import data to another table in my database. I want this to run automatically nightly on FileMaker Server.
I've tried to keep it basic to get at least the first step working. Here is what I have:
Set Variable [$filename; Value: Get(DocumentsPath) & "Export.csv"]
Go to Layout ["Student Information" (Student)]
Perform Find [Restore]
Export Records [No dialog; "$filename"; Macintosh]
No Export.csv file on my Host computer anywhere.
Please help! Thank you!
