Hi Lee -
from the screenshot it seems that you've based the report layout on the Contacts table, when it should be based on the Contacts_Qualifications join table.
The same goes for the other report: if you want to see a list of all (assigned*) qualifications and their assignees, base the report layout on the join table, add a sub-summary part 'by Qualification::name' (the related field from Qualifications) into which you place that field, and a body part that holds Contact::name.
Sort by Qualification::name and Contact::name, and you'll see a list of contacts broken down by qualifications.
Note that you won't see any qualification sub-summary groups that exist in your Qualification table but aren't used in the current join table found set.
am having a problem with selecting todays date and it not changing the report details.
Hi Lee –
what exactly do you want to happen when you enter todays date?
I was just testing that the report works ok buy moving the date a month on.
Wall, let me play dumb and put my question this way: what does the date in that field have to do with the report?
I have changed things about a bit so I'm going to put a new question out there to all the group.
Thank you as always.
