new icons in any application (including my iPhone) that are thin outlines of their former selves are not my idea of good UI/UX.
I agree with you Dave. The grey on grey isn't a good contrast.
And what do the icons mean? I've learnt that a vertical arrow pointing
up, exiting a rectangle, means share, post, send or something similar. A
few years ago our apps where full of colourful icons that bore a
striking resemblance to actual things, they were visual metaphors that
could be interpreted without the need for language or for rote learning.
Are they trying to keep the field names secret?
I think the field picker could be a great tool, if it were possible to
read the field names I would use it more often.
the most ridiculous part at all was TS' recommendation to change systems display preferences contrast and brightness in order to fit!
