I have a portal set up so the row is a button. Currently I can tab through the rows in the portal. I cannot figure out how to "press" the portal row's button by pressing the enter/return key on my keyboard. Is this possible?
Activate the OnObjectKeystroke trigger for the portal; attach a script like
If [ Let ( c = Code ( Get ( KeystrokeTrigger ) ) ; c = 13 or c = 10 ) ]
to that event - where "do stuff" is whatever you want it to be, including a call to the script that is attached to the button, thus simulating a key press.
Thank you that works. One more question for anyone.
My script is set to return me to a filter field for the portal after the row button is pressed, but the enter keypress from before gets typed once I enter this field. Is there any way to suppress this keypress?
Nevermind. I see you answered this same question in another thread.
Re: Keystroke Trigger for return keys
Thank you again.
