Installing a web browser plugin for the web viewer on OSX

I built a FileMaker solution that can call a phone number using my SIP phone service. I have 2 options, 1 to use the default Safari Browser (Mac OSX) or 2 use the FileMaker Web Viewer that from what I understand uses the Safari engine.

For option 1, the Browser, the web site I am accessing asks to install the WebRTC plugin, I install and everything works. BUT for Option 2 the web viewer, the same URL asks to install the WebRTC plugin but when I click Install now, nothing happens.

I have 2 questions, 1 Why is the web viewer asking to install the plugin when I installed it in Safari already and 2 how come the Install Now does not work. Is there a special place for Web Veiwer plugins?

I have the option on the web viewer to allow interaction with web viewer content enabled.
