Product and version: FileMaker Server 126.96.36.199, FileMaker Pro/Advanced 188.8.131.52, FileMaker Go 15
OS and version: FMS on OS X 10.11.6, FMP on OS X 10.12.1 and Windows 10, FMPA on OS X 10.12.1, and FMGo on IOS 10.1.1
Hardware: FMS on Mac Mini, FMP on Mac Mini and variety of Windows desktops, FMPA on 27inch iMac, FMGo on iPad Mini 2s, 4th generation iPads, and iPad Pro
Description: Upon update to FileMaker 15 platform several auto-enter lookup fields failed to populate consistently when using client FM app on a variety of devices. These are straightforward lookups using straightforward relationships that had been working without issue in previous versions of FileMaker going back to version 12. Upon downgrading to FMP 14 client app, the lookups work as designed. Have done side-by-side on the same machine running both 15 and 14. With same databases and records open in both versions simultaneously on same machine, auto-enter lookups did not work using version 15, but did using version 14. Note there have been several posts on this issue in the FileMaker Community discussions.
How to replicate: Other than using version 15 client apps, have not determined how to replicate because of inconsistency of issue. Lookups seem to work better when related table is in the same database file, and more problematic when related table is in a different database file although located on same FMServer.
Workaround (if any): Downgrade to version 14 client apps.
