First you have right permission to export data. Have you checked in Security that you have that.
Then if you get a error message when you export Field container data to your desktop using Script Step, you most probably use wrong address to your Desktop. I usually use a Set Variable and give a name $File. I set the $File to the address where I want my file to be exported to. The name of the file that I want to export I can get with ContainerAttribute( YourFIeld ; "Filename" ) . It could look like this
If you use Mac you first have to set filemac: and if you use Windows filewin:
Then you use the FileMaker function Get(DesktopPath)
Then you add desired file name using another Variable, Set Variable ( $FileName ; ContainerAttribute( YourFIeld ; "Filename" ) )
So the total address for exporting using "filewin:" & $File & $FileName
I use windows...But I didn't understand..how to set filewin?
You use the Script Step Set Variable to whatever information you need. In your case you need the folder address to your Desktop. Then you need the name of the file. So for that you create a path that includes folder & file name
Set Variable ( $File ; "filewin:" & Get(DesktopPath) & GetContainerAttribute( YourFieldName ; "FileName" ) )
Then in your Export Script Step you set your variable $File to the path to your file where you want to export your file
Here you can read more about GetContainerAttribute - FileMaker Pro 15 Help
