I am having issues printing from Filemaker Pro 14 to an HP printer. I am getting the following error message when I try to print:
Printing can not continue because this printer is not connected to a port. Use the Control Panel to set up a port.
I have access to a bunch of Sharp printers aswell, and they are working just fine.
This issue also only happens when I sort my selection in Filemaker by A-Z. If I dont sort the selection, I can print just fine.
I have tried searching the community for a solution but unfortunately I haven't come across any yet.
OS: Windows 10 Enterprise 64bit
Filemaker: Filemaker Pro 14 32 bit
- The 'compatibility mode'-fix (setting FM to run as on Windows Vista) is not a valuable solution as it only temporarily fixed the issue.
- Latest print driver is installed
