When creating a "find" in Filemaker Go 15 I cannot locate the list of find operators (e.g. <, <=, ==, >, =>, etc.). Are find operators not supported in Filemaker Go 15?
Which keyboard you get is determined by what options are selected for that field in the Inspector. What you are seeing is the default keyboard for a number field, but it's not the only option that you can specify.
They are supported. You just don't get a list of them to pick from. You can enter the operators like you do the search text.
You can create buttons that sets the operators and even have a Value List that sets them for you
A list of operators appears if you right-click a field when in Find Mode. The same list appears if you click Insert Operator when creating a script and editing a find request.
And exactly how would you "right click" a field with your fingers in FileMaker Go?
I think I may have overlooked a short but significant word.
When I enter Find Mode using iPhone I only get a numeric keyboard ... not the full keyboard so there is no way to enter the Find operators. I have clicked on every highlighted area on the screen but no Find operators.
The field I am querying is a calculation field (number of days between two dates) and I noticed the same thing occurs with another field that is also a number field. I do get the full keyboard in Find Mode on text fields.
Everything seems to work fine with FM Pro Advanced 15 and FM WebDirect. I have re-installed FM Go 15 a number of times.
Got it. Changed to “system default” and everything works fine now.
