I have two similar databases.
The much bigger one (scores of thousands of records) has a couple of dozen fields per record; the second has two or three fields in fewer than half as many records. The few fields in the second, smaller database overlap those in the first: the three fields in each record in in the smaller database have the same field names as those in a record in the bigger one, and all of the content in those fields will have a match in the bigger one. That is, every record in that smaller database will have a comparable record for in the bigger one (matching those fewer fields).
I want to create a THIRD database containing the differences between the other two. That is, to have FM match records between the existing two, based upon two of those fields (the third isn't always filled), and where they match, to delete that record, leaving me with a database where none of the records match those in the smaller database.
Is this possible?
