You probably should have posted this as Feedback instead of as a discussion.
Yeah, they did have trouble a bit back and it was weird how I couldn't get in via my browsers from my home office, but if I walked out of WiFi range and then used my iPhone via LTE to connect, I got in. I was thinking it was a problem with my ISP, but contacted someone I know at FileMaker to be sure and they indicated that there was a problem.

DNS (domain name system - servers) don't alway populate as soon as we wish! having alternate IP addresses can certainly help.

Had the same problems this morning. nslookup community.filemaker.Com on opedns a was pointing somewhere else entirely. It fixed itself and then went back to the previous incorrect values. Looked like they'd got a broken dns record.
Ive got no choice on my dns settings as that's down to our it team.
