    import drops fields

    DSKatSCL

      I have a script that looks to see if a table is empty, and if so, it will import (add new records), and if the table is not empty, then it imports (update matching records in found set/add remaining data as new records).  When run and the tables are empty, the data map should show all matching fields to be imported except the “Record Date” field (See Attached Documentation).  It doesn’t. It shows up with dashes instead of arrows and the data does not import.  This happens in both instances on line 55 and on line 65 of the script.

      See attached PDF with screen shots.

      These were working fine until I added the second half of the if statement (Else) with the Update matching records in found set import
      records command.  I have tried to delete the import commands and recreate them and I get the same results.  Any ideas?

          Thank you for your post.

          If you manually reset the import order and the import no longer works, then I would definitely like to see a clone of your database file as well as a sample "Ventilator Hours..." file (the file being imported).

          I have sent you a private message with instructions where to send the files.
