Apple Mail, send email via client, display name

FileMaker Advanced 14

Mac OS Sierra

I have a script with script step "send mail" (via client) that populates the "to" field with a calculation that concatenates "first name" and "last name" and then "email" within angle brackets. FileMaker will create the email, but the first and last name don't appear in the address of the email. In Mail, I can manually type the exact same result as the calculation, and it will display fine. Is FileMaker re-formatting the calculated result first, or is it Mail that is dropping the additional text?

Not a major issue, as it works as intended, but would be nice to see the name as well as email in the address.
