Why are HTML pages exported from FMPro 15 unable to recognize .css file? (Win and MacOS)

Issue:  I regularly export the contents of a FMPro database into an HTML file.  That file doesn't recognize its .css file.  Every time, I have to use a text editor to manually change the file format of the exported file.

      Problem in Windows:

      - HTML file exported from FMPro is in "UNICODE" format and doesn't recognize its .css file.

      - After manually changing the file format to "ANSI", the HTML file recognizes its .css file.

      Solution:

      - FileMaker should export text/HTML files in "ANSI" format.

      Note:

      - EditPlus and WordPad save text files in "ANSI" format by default.

      Problem in MacOS:

      - HTML file exported from FMPro is in "Unicode (UTF-16 Little Endian)" format and doesn't recognize its .css file.

      - After manually changing the file format to "Unicode (UTF-8)", the HTML file recognizes its .css file.

      Solution:

      - FileMaker should export text/HTML files in "Unicode (UTF-8)" format.

      Note:

      - TextEdit saves text files in "Unicode (UTF-8)" format by default.
