I can not install the update 15.0.3 Filemaker server advanced on Sierra because he asks me to stop apache, but it's already stopped. Suggestions?
Should still work with credentials entered. If you have an FDS you can get the updated download there as well.
Are you running OSX Server? No such thing as Server Advanced in FM15.
FileMaker KnowledgeBase : Reinstalling FileMaker Server to troubleshoot an issue
sudo launchctl stop com.filemaker.fms

Yes. My assumption was this was done. You do need to stop the service using this command in Terminal.
Thanks. Server stops correctly, I also used the terminal command, but the update don't run because a window tells me that Apache is running. All web services are stopped and apache seems not running.
You could try restarting the server - in 'save mode' (shift key while startup). We have had this (+/-) a couple of weeks ago, installing in 'save mode' helped
The other option would be to uninstall and install the latest full version from the download page.
I find the full installer fms 15.0.3 in demo mode only...
I installed the full demo version and replaced the test license by my license. Now it's running! Thank you.
