If you have an iPad, you can try it yourself. Take a look at "Duet Display" by Duet, inc. on the iTunes App Store. It mirrors your Mac's display and has an option to also display a functioning touch bar.

Thanks Jon and already a huge fan of Duet. We're also able to run FileMaker on iPads using our Citrix and RDP servers.
Good idea though, but not convinced by lack of haptic feedback.
You can do that already today.
Use MBS Plugin and setup the keys yourself to do the thing you want.
