Trying to connect to a file on Filemaker Go and it pops up with the error: the file ".." could not be opened. (not found). Have tried restarting the app, deleting and re-downloading the app. Was wondering if anybody had any suggestions?
Have you tried disabling the Wi-fi? In my experience, some wifi networks settings may block opening a file, then one is open you can enable it back.
Also make sure that you File has the right extended privilege settings defined to access the FileMaker Network.
Is the file hosted?
I tried disabling the wifi just now and while it went farther than the usual, it popped up with the error "either the host is not available, or the file is not available on that hose". I'm able to log into it on my comptuer though. Also it does look like the file has full access when looking at "fmapp".
While in FileMaker go, do you see your file while in "Hosts"? if you don´t see it may not be set up right, I am afraid.
When creating a host, try with the server IP number instead, perhaps?
