Unfortunately that will not work. They need it to be individual files.
Merge/Combine is not an option. I have never used MBS, care to tell me more about the zip option. Again, the client wants multiple PDF to be sent in a single FileMaker scripted email.
Please download the MBS Plugin.
In the examples and documentation you find a lot of useful details.
But why not simply use the plugin to send email?
We can send email via SMTP with multiple attachments.
Select "Perform AppleScript" step and add your AppleScript.
Native AppleScript option is hard-coded, but it does not need escaping. Calculated AppleScript option will allow you to specify your folders and zip files dynamically but it will need escaping.
The sample Native AppleScript you can try would be something like:
do shell script "zip -jr /Users/yourname/Desktop/zipped.zip /Users/yourname/Desktop/filestozip"
This assumes that you have a folder on your desktop called "filestozip", the resulting zip file will be called "zipped.zip"
You will need to replace "yourname" in the filepth with the actual OSX username
According to FileMaker Support you can not have multiple attachments in a SMTP Send email script step. If this is not true then please tell me how to do this.
FileMaker native "Send Mail" will not allow you more then one attachment. I believe, this supposed to change in the next version.
Plugins extend FileMaker functionality. Using plugin functions you can send an email (through the plugin) and add more than one attachment. You will need to get a plugin and read through plugin documentation.
