Content: Video file is stored in a container field (not stored externally) , with "Optimize for Interactive Content" and "Start Playback Automatically" checked via Inspector. Video file formats are m4v, and about 1MB.
Layout: the video container field is inside a Pop Over button.
No issue when viewing in FM Pro Advanced on Desktop (MBP). Works exactly as intended.
Issue: When shared (and downloaded) to iOS devices such as an iPad or iPhone (both up to date and using FM GO 15), the popover will open but show this icon instead of autoplaying most of the time.
You can tap the icon and it'll show options like Play, Play Full Screen, Replace, Export, and Delete.
Is this a common issue when viewing these types of interactive media containers?
Sometimes the video will actually autoplay, but when it reaches the end, it "closes" to that icon.
Should I be looking to the AVplayer script steps? Is this the only way to force the container to auto-play?
