Just wanted to share with the community. My friends and family don't quite get it so just saying I just passed the 15 certification!!! So happy!
Thanks for listening!
Congratulations! A notable achievement.
Congratulations! I strutted insufferably around my house for a week or so after I was certified the first time.
Congrats, Philip! It's certainly not an easy test. Oh yes, regarding personal friends and family, they are nice and smile and all, but they don't get it. So it is fun for you to share here because we can relate to the hard work in this accomplishment!
By the way, Philip, I looked to see recent FM 15 certification missions icons and your "Me in three" and you didn't have the FM 15 certification mission. If you haven't already, be sure to update your profile with your certification and certificate number. You may have done it and it takes FM a day or two to review and confirm it. Among other things, it'll add you another 800 mission points (if that matters to you). But mostly it is good to be recognized officially here.
I was curious about that. I just took the exam yesterday, and I believe it takes up to 3 weeks for my certificate (and I presume cert number) to arrive from Filemaker, Inc. But I also didn't see the 14 or 15 cert missions available. Only 7-13. Couldn't figure out if I am supposed to manually add 15, or what. Yes, I'd love to get the 800 points!
When you left the exam, you had a results sheet with your score and that you passed and it has a Candidate ID and registration number on it. It is one of those two numbers you need to put in the profile. Go to Edit your Profile and go down to "Certification Registration Number(s):" and put those two numbers in and hit the update. You'll automatically get the 800 missions points when they process it, which will probably be Monday or Tuesday.
By the way, if you belong to an FBA company, you will separately have to have the FBA account manager go to the FBA profile and add your name and certification there.
Great. I found it thanks. Didn't realize the "registration number" was what I needed. Thought it would be some other "certification number." So good! Thanks!
