How can I customize windows error and change it to my project theme?
I want to have my theme on windows notification.
This is not a Windows Notification. It is from FileMaker rather than the Operating System.
You cannot modify it if you are using the menus to manually enter find mode and perform the find.
But in a script, you can do this:
Set Error Capture [on] ---> this step keeps script error dialogs like this one from appearing when an error happens.
If [ Get ( LastError ) > 0 // an error has occurred with the find ]
Show Custom dialog
You can put what text you want and what buttons (up to three) that you want in the custom dialog.
You can also use Get ( FoundCount ) instead of checking for an error code as any error with the find produces an empty found set and thus a count of 0.
Instead of a custom dialog, you could also open a popover or a new window. Those options provide more choices for what to show in the message than is possible with Show Custom Dialog.
My problem in the theme of that error, for example, i want the user to see this error green!
I have custom dialog now on my project, UI of this error is my problem.
To repeat from my last post:
Sir my problem does not message in error!
Now my problem is interfacing the error, I want the color of windows error is red for example or error windows color is same as my project color.
as you see I have the best of custom dialog on show custom dialog.
And my last reply told you not to use a custom dialog but to use other means for showing the error message:
You can use your script with go to object to open a popover to display the error message.
You can use your script to open a new window to display the message.
Both options allow you more control over the message's appearance--including appearance settings selected in the inspector to better coordinate the message's appearance with that of your layout's theme.
As PMJ said you cant change the color of the custom dialog.
You have to find another way to produce a dialog where you can set the desired color
