      Currently I am using the year ( get ( CurrntDate)) calculation to organize expenses by year. This is all well and good provided I am entering the  expense the same year as the expense occurred. However doing the first week of January I am likely to still be entering a few expenses form December the previous year, likewise it is possible I will find a reason to go back and add a few expenses from my spread sheets before if hey are relevant to tracking changes in expenses or project that we put on hold and are not being moved forward.

       

      For this reason I am trying to figure out the calculation to give me a 4 digit year field based on the date field of the expense and not on the year that the expense is physically keyed into my database.
