No such thing as an "image box". Might be a container field or might be a web viewer. either could be made to work.
For a container, you can insert a reference to the file into a container. You can even use Import Records to create a table of records with such a reference in a container field for every image in the folder all in one go if you use Import Records/Folder.
For a Web Viewer, you have to make the file path part of the web viewer's URL.
And you might want to research "External Storage" and how it is used with container fields as this will be a new aspect of how container fields might be used in your solution.
Hi there thanks so much for writing,
I have done the Import Records/Folder method, but i have 300 records and 300 jpegs and somehow not all of them went to the correct position
I can do it manually but means down the line it might get messy, i do remember having a project in the past where the name of one field informed the container which jpeg to show?
and somehow not all of them went to the correct position
English is a very imprecise means of communication.
What exactly do you mean by that?

You can use $path variable in "Insert Picture" script step.
Set Variable [ $path ; "full path for your folder/" & VFXID & ".jpg" ]
Insert Picture [ $path ]
If you need only reference, one more way
Set Field [ VFXImage ; "image://full path for your folder/" & VFXID & ".jpg" ]
Thanks so much, the $path variable worked a treat.
